The movie is about a battle rapper, rehabilitated from his criminal past, who goes to Hong Kong to pursue a lucrative career in the music industry, only to get caught in the middle of a drug deal that will endanger his hopes for a new life. Also, the thr3 team is working hard with their good friend Philippe Joly on a short film called “Vor: Trust Me I’m A Thief”. The short will be about empowerment in the gangster world, which causes the Hong Kong Triads & Russian gangsters to get involved. The short will be filmed by the awesome Kamil, and Temur will cover the action choreography part, as well as acting in it too. Keep an eye on this one as it will be a great film, and it will be shot later this year in June.
So do stop by the thr3′s Facebook page or come back to the blog for more updates about these projects.
Before the see ya laters for this time, please have a listen to the thr3′s friend Meilin‘s new tune that has been blasted at the thr3 office lately. Be warned, it’s very catchy…
Until then, stay blessed

So what else is new on the thr3 side?
Kam and J. have been keeping themselves busy with their personal projects; Kam is busy snapping away in the world of underground music. He has also started a new music/photo blog where he keeps everyone updated on what’s happening on the small music stage, and also throws in a bit of other bits and bobs from his photo adventures. Check it out for your self at kamsphotoblog.wordpress.com. J. is busy with his rapping and writing. Soon he will be going back to the recording studio to start recording some new sweet tunes. Keep an eye on him as well.
There are also some movie projects in the pipeline; some are American productions, and some local based in Hong Kong/China. There’s a project that the whole thr3 team is signed to, “Lady Bloodsport”, which is looking to go into production in June this year.
J. and Temur are going over some ideas for the choreography for the film. They were asked to come up with a short fight choreography demo for the project, so yesterday afternoon J., Kam and Temur all went out to a local garden in Cheung Sha Wan to do some filming. The results can be viewed just below. Just remember to view it in HD for better quality.
The thr3team is also signed to a Hip-Hop movie project called “Discord” that will be directed by Damon Dash, and starring J. as the lead character about a Rapper who has to choose between his passion for music or make money in the drug game with gangsters.
This movie will be based on some true events which J. has experienced from the past.
As projects after projects are flooding in for the thr3, the whole team is ready for anything… So get ready world, the thr3 is here to stay!
Once again it has been a little bit quite from the thr3 side. Well, it has been busy with some great projects, it’s been non-stop for J. and Kam under the B&E Productions roof. They both have a Hollywood production that’s in the pipeline which they’ll be working on soon, and just recently thr3guys teamed up with the legendary rap mogul Damon Dash and Adidas to work on a Cryptik Soul music video.
All behind the scenes images were shot by Kamil “CamKam” Janowski
Damon Dash directed, with B&E’s Bey Logan providing action choreography and producer Charles Loi supervising the shoot. Team Cryptik Soul includes US rock band The Dirty Rabbits and local super model and media personality Raven Tao, the thugs feature such usual suspects as Jai Day, Harry Oram and Philippe Joly. Also in the cast was TVB actor Cary Lee, and the clip ends with a fast-paced duel between Cryptik Soul and Tom Caserto.
Now the thr3 are in talks with Damon to do a bigger project with Cryptik Soul, which will soon be filmed in China and Hong Kong and sponsored by Adidas too.
Other than that, what’s new on this side… The thr3 has recently teamed up with two new fantastic and talented people. Please welcome Charles Loi and Vuk Mikic to the expanding and multi international team of creatives! Charles is full of amazing ideas and great director, and Vuk is a magician with his Canon. So, keep an eye open as the thr3 do have some cool stuff coming your way. More on them on the thr3 Crew page.
Until next time, Peace!
It has been over a month J. and Kam went to China to be on the set of Roger Corman produced “Fist of the Dragon”. The film, directed by Antony Szeto, is a remake of the Don Wilson classic “Moving Target”, and stars MMA champion Josh “The Punk” Thomson, Xin Sarith Wuku and Ellary Porterfield. Been a crazy month with long but awarding hours on the set, and now they are back in Hong Kong.
After long hours, cold weathers, bruises & cuts, it was an experience for them both as they learned a lot on how film making works.
Now that “Fist of the Dragon” is all wrapped up, J. and Kam will be working on their next project with Sifu Bey Logan, the “Fantom”.
“Fantom” is a low-budget and high-impact hard-edged urban martial arts thriller, set to be shoot here in Hong Kong later this year. Tom Caserto plays a US Special Forces operative forced to go rogue in a future Hong Kong devastated by a techo plague. Sifu Bey Logan directs, and the cast includes rising stars and established players including Vivienne Tseng (“Lust and Found”), newcomer J. Cheung and Jason Tobin (“Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift”). “Fantom” is pitched as ‘Escape from New York’-meets-‘The Warriors’-by-way-of ‘The Raid’.
Do come back & check up on the thr3 for more details about that.
Until then, the thr3 wish everyone a happy Chinese New Year! We hope the year of the Snake will bring everybody good fortune & great prosperity.
Sorry about the silence and hope all is well. Just a quick post to keep you guys updated on the thr3 movements in China.
Kam and J. on the set of a Roger Corman Production, “Fist of the Dragon”
J. was called up to help assist with the Fight Choreography, whilst Kamil is in charge of Behind the scenes Pics and Continuity (Script Supervisor).
The shoot has so far been with loads of long and tough days, with some awesome fight choreography. But importantly, it’s an exiting and inspiring experience for the both them.
Here are some pics from the shoot in China. The thr3 will post more info and more images on this project as the production progresses. Follow us on the blog and Facebook for more info from China!
Until then, be safe!
Kam and J. on the set of a Roger Corman Production, “Fist of the Dragon”
How’s everybody doing? Hope you all spent a great Xmas with your closest and dearest.
Today Kam and J. had the pleasure to work with Thomas Eikrem (the director of an awesome movie in making: “Le Accelerator”). When you get a chance, please visit the “Le Accelerator” web page http://www.leaccelerator.com for more info and great behind the scenes photography. The whole film is shot on 8mm film! So you can imagine the excitement on Kam’s face this morning…
J. had a short cameo in the movie as a Martial Arts assassin, so he was working through some Martial Arts choreography with Sifu Bey Logan on the roof terrace of the B&E Productions office in Cheung Sha Wan all this morning, and Kam was shooting all the behind the scenes stills.
Sifu Bey Logan aka “The Stunt Fist”, finally got his chance to smack J.
Also, a big special announcement! J. and Kam will be heading up to ACE Studios in Nanhai, China, in January to work on a Roger Corman movie titled “Fist of the Dragon”, directed by Antony Szeto (the director of Jackie Chan presents “Wushu”). In this production J. will be part of the stunt team and work as a Stuntman and Kamil will work as a Script Supervisor(Continuity) and also be the Set Photographer.
Let’s wish them luck all the way as when they both get back to Hong Kong, they’ll be busy working on the “Fantom” project with Sifu Bey & a huge Hollywood production which they’ll soon reveal here on the blog and Facebook. Both of the are super excited to be part of the “Fist of the Dragon” team, more on their adventures probably not until they get back to Hong Kong in February.
We hope everyone had an amazing holidays, and do have fun on the New Years… Here’s to 2013!
